As we close out one turnaround and start another, coming and going under the night sky seems to be the rule these days as organized chaos ensues, and it becomes difficult to distinguish east from west. The mayhem stands as another reminder that God’s promise to provide is beyond my comprehension. Examples of His faithfulness increase in number as each day passes and each form of daily bread slides across the table. I am broken and humbled, down to the very last piece of packing tape.
Earlier this week, a new supplier told me he did not have an issue charging a little more for a particular product because our end user made $42 gazillion dollars last quarter. Needless to say, they are no longer on our manufacturer’s list. As the owner of the company, my position is this - what the customer does with his profit is no less between him and God than what I do with our profit. The responsibility to be a great steward lies on both sides of the fence. Every day I realize how blessed I am to do this gig. I realize that not a dollar falls into our bank account without God’s say so and I realize not a single pink rabbit is found without God’s hand supremely guiding us on the journey. My inability to manage our resources or have bigger eyes than my stomach can handle, is not the fault of our made of gold client. We will stand firm in our transparency and in our enthusiasm to serve all who call us into battle. And we will stand firm washing feet and hitting it out of the park when it comes to customer service, low pricing and honest delivery schedules.
Praise Jesus Christ for the mission, the blessings, the friends and the trust. He is our Light in the darkness, our Guide into all truth, our Provider in the desert and our Deliverer into the land of milk and honey.
