It has been difficult for me to accept debt, even good debt, in this business. I was raised in a home where waiting is a virtue. Christmas, birthdays and anniversaries were reserved for “luxury” giving and even then, my parents did not believe in an arrear of any sort unless it had to do with a mortgage.
I often give a shout out to the resources that help us get the job done and wash our customer’s feet with the same dedication and passion as those inside the company. I would be amiss if the same proclamation was not extended to our bankers, CPAs, attorneys and financial advisors. Floating a seven figure AR for 80+ days is the stuff ulcers are made of and without these relationships it simply would not happen.
Praise God, He sees it fit to round off the edges completing our circle of gold-plated assets that not only help us find the rainbow unicorns but also help us fund them. It amazes me that the compact details are important to the Good Shepherd. It is mind-boggling my Savior can miraculously work a deal in our favor and not only open a door, but also roll out the red carpet in the process.
Every day and every minute, I find another reason to hit my knees and praise Jesus for His astonishing provision.
