‘He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.’ Daniel 2:21
In today’s uncertain times the question of ‘why would God allow’¦ ‘ seems to maneuver its way into ear shot multiple times in a 24 hour period. Looking at the man in the mirror I too have questions. I also have frustrations especially whenever I see our government doing things I disagree with. Multiply that times 10 when these ‘things ‘affect me personally.
But, a great price was paid for me. And my body is no longer mine.
I pray daily to look like Jesus. I pray daily to have the strength to deny self and pick up my cross. I pray daily that my heart is the heart of Christ. If I am truly tied to the Vine then why would I have a desire to know the answer to what is going on? That answer should be of no surprise, especially since God Almighty is the author and perfector of me, when sin implodes and the results fall out.
Trials, suffering, loss, frustration, fill in the blank. Birth pains.
Be encouraged brothers and sisters. Jesus has overcome all of this. And He stands in the gap for those that love Him.
Finish the race. We are almost home.
