It was 25’° today with a windchill factor of 13. Every road from my house to the plant was covered in ice. Most businesses wisely shut down to keep people off the roads.
However, our industry never closes and no matter what is happening we all play an essential part in helping our great customers keep product in the pipe.
Praise God for four-wheel-drive and protection on the feeder roads and highways. Praise God for the loyal customer that called our phone. Praise God for the area businesses that helped support the need of 5000 pounds of salt, 6000 pounds of sand, several dozen tarps and a few broadcast spreaders.
Last but not least, praise God for a family that understands when duty calls you just have to brave the elements and help get it done.
