As we roll into the middle of the week, I stare another 100+ hour marathon in the face. Valves of every shape, size and color have found their way into our lap through the weekend and even as late as just an hour ago. Praise God we are busy and praise God customers all over the place seem to like what we have to offer.
It is impossible to run, like I do, without a strong support system holding firm in the wings. Hunting down a Monel 400 nozzle on a Saturday morning and performing a job-walk under the amber hue of a petrochemical unit, at the end of a 15 hour day, requires an extremely understanding and loving wife, and children who believe in their Daddy and who are exceedingly forgiving when I’m late for a basketball game. Having the time to sit with a customer and spec out an Alloy 20 sight glass while the office chases down a work list full of miscellaneous supplies, requires a dependable staff that is as committed as I am to wash the customer’s feet. Without Jesus Christ, none of it is possible. Praise the Good Shepherd I have been blessed, beyond my wildest dreams, with an abundance of “good gifts.”
