Praise God for a week of business that would give the El Toro a run for its money. One minute we can’t breathe and the next, we have time to watch paint dry. For this business owner, the lessons in the peaks and valleys will forever outlast any amount of green the business could ever take in.
I would not be surprised if the past few days have removed some life from these bones. I will not bore you with the details, but understand that juggling this season of the teenage years, little to no vacation, caring for an underappreciated spouse, managing a growing business, pushing and pulling on lines of credit and buffering what seems to be doom on every social media page, while doing your best to keep a deliberate view of the Gospel in front of you at all times, will challenge your mind’s ability to have clarity on the track.
For reasons that escape me, God continues to be faithful. His grace has arrived by the metric ton; His kindness has arrived in droves; His forgiveness resides outside of the east and west; His love well beyond the borders of the sea; His provision remains void of measure; His generosity, void of comprehension. Jesus Christ is it. I will forever be in debt, and I will forever be nothing without Him.
