let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. ~ Hebrews 10:22
Praise God for this past week and the lesson’s that literally flooded our yard with needed and desired nutrients alike. In complete alignment with the abundance of rain we have received lately and the sopping wet grass under my feet, the bounty of instruction and guidance that has poured into my office over the last few days, has left me overwhelmed and absolutely pervaded by God’s generosity and kindness. Promises from Jehovah exclaim that while the road may sometimes be lonely, I’m never alone. Thundering reminders from heaven continue to declare this world is not my place of residence and prompt Yahweh’s position of residing high above the cherubim’s playground and unrestrained by any fictional boundary of another second chance, remain intact. He has delivered me from slavery and the mouths of lions just the same. Refusing to listen to the perjury of Satan from below and his barriers of discouragement that can sometimes block my path, I will continue to sing of Christ’s glory in and out of season. It is because of His goodness that I have a new song to perform. It is because of His grace that I’m no longer lost. It is because of His great love that my victory is assured. It is because of His willingness to pass the inheritance down to this undeserving prodigal that I can stand knee deep on the saturated lawn and understand He alone is worthy.
