Praise God for His perfect provision this week leaving us in solid footing and ready to tackle what could be an extremely busy upcoming seven days, given the possibility of frozen pipe and a truckload of emergency assistance. I’m very thankful He has equipped us to do this type of work well and blown away that He continues to flood the transom with new customers, new ideas and new opportunities.
Earlier this week, I had a client inquire about some of the products we stock in preparation for a freeze/catastrophic event. He was surprised to find one particular product on the shelf, complementing our forethought and insight. For a split second, I thought about taking the credit, but that was short lived. Truth be told, I remain a manager in this vineyard as this has been God’s gig from day one.
For the past 30 years of my professional career and every second before that, the hand of Jesus has been guiding me in this land of milk and honey. It has been His hand providing contacts and resources we do not deserve. It has been His hand providing opportunities out of thin air and a book of repeat business that leaves me on my knees unable to communicate how thankful I am. It is His hand that continues to guide food into our mouths and His hand that saves the leprosy for another day. Jehovah-Jireh has made it rain quail more times than I can count and brings water from the rocks when I seem to doubt Him most.
As long as I’m alive and as long as there is oxygen in these lungs, I will humbly shout from every platform just Who the forethought, insight and credit actually belong to.
