Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
These last few weeks of vineyard management have been a journey. It is amazing to me how much damage can be done when I allow someone or something to steal my joy. The debris field can be staggering when the storm clears and I’m always surprised at the considerable amount of vandalism I’ve allowed to take place.
As simply as I can put it, Praise Jesus Christ for forgiving me 70 xs 7. Bad decisions can wreak havoc and reminders of the good ones can be in short supply when the sky is dark. Praise Him for His heavenly grace in the day to day of irregularities. Praise Him for His divine favor in a sea of big fish. Praise Him for His stark reminders that the race is far from over and thank Him for moments such as these, of needed reprieve.
