“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” Philippians 4:6
Praise Jesus Christ for this past week of highs and lows. I’m thankful for the customers who paid on time and the manufacturers that extended their favor. I’m thankful for the clients that loved us and generously bought from us. I’m thankful for rock-solid employees and pure-gold family members that supported what we did and believed in the vision set forth from day one.
On an equal playing field, I’m also thankful for those customers that did not pay us on time and for the manufacturers that made the sell that much more difficult. I’m thankful for the clients who chose to do their business elsewhere and I’m thankful for the staff and family members that challenged my leadership and questioned my authority. It is mainly in these moments of the trade’s pinnacles and ravines that I hear the Holy Spirit encourage me the most, to be void of worry and in the business of forgiving rather than preaching.
